Wow. I'm speechless. That was gorgeous! This is how these two characters are meant to put everything behind them and finally come together!

I love it!

BRAVO!!!

Aw, thank you!! ^_^ It's always struck me as 'what are they fighting for?' If they could just strip away all the anger and bitterness and distrust, things could be great!

Thanks again! :D

So sweet. I love the inner turmoil and Clark's personal revelation. I also appreciated that they didn't just fall into bed without admitting to pain and love for/from each other. I also liked that they were wiling to admit not all deds they'd commited were forgivable by the other, it's important in this particualr relaitionship.

Great Job!!!!!

Thank you!! ^_^ I couldn't help throwing in a bit of the BDA there. :p Poor Clark. And I couldn't just have them skip over all the pain of those intervening years. Too much water under the bridge too ignore. But they'll get past it eventually, I think. :)

Awesome chapter. I especially loved all the bits about Clark finally realizing his feelings. This line, "It was far softer than he'd ever imagined - he'd imagined this?" was my favorite. Looking forward to part three.

Thanks so much! :D I couldn't resist throwing a bit of the BDA in there. ^_~ Poor Clark. He needed to gain a new perspective, for sure.

I really like this. Because while there are things between them that can't be forgiven - really, they can't be - they are making the choice for things to be different, now. That's a huge step, an enormous change to make, and it's a fragile balance they are creating here.

Thank you! ^_^ I really wanted them to make that choice to change, b/c really, nobody was going to do it for them. I think that's a big part of all hero/villain relationships, deciding to simply *be* different, and working to make that change happen. Heck, DC is full of villains that have turned their lives around because of their hero nemesis. Pied Piper, Trickster, Catwoman, even Riddler and Harley Quinn! :p And you're absolutely right. It's a very fragile balance.

Thanks again! :)

So wonderful, Saavi! :)

I always am happy when writers fix the boys up, because they are so meant to be together in the SV universe!

It's easy, boys, to stop the fighting. Make love, not war. ;)

Thanks so much, hon! :D The boys needed to be fixed-up so badly here, I think. Of course, since I've been reading a little Clex here on LJ, I can't not see it! XD
