The rain is coming down so hard now that the location shoot has been put on hold until at least mid-afternoon. With water sluicing from the sky, Jared and Jensen hole up in Jen's trailer to wait it out, bored out of their minds and not really interested in the X-Box games they're playing. It's not like them to not enjoy time off from the grueling pace of filming, but today is just... different.
Most likely, it's the drenching rain. Trying to avoid getting soaked, they've hurried from shot to shot, just wanting to get through today's work and go home, where they can dry out and really relax. Knowing they've got a good six hours of shooting left once the rain eases up is downright oppressive.
An hour into their forced break, Jared tosses his game controller on the floor and stands, running a hand through his hair. "This is driving me crazy, Jen," he grumbles.
Looking up at him with wide eyes, Jensen lets out a heavy breath and drops his own controller. "You and me, both. Got any ideas?"
"I dunno. I just wanna get out and move, but it's too damned wet outside."
Jensen thinks for a minute, then stands. "You know what, who cares? It's not like wardrobe doesn't have ten spares of everything we have on. Let's go," he finishes with a decisive nod.
"What?" Jared tilts his head, looking like such an overgrown puppy that Jen can't stifle a chuckle.
"Outside," he says with a crooked grin. "Let's get wet. We can burn off all this boredom, then come back, dry off, and work off more energy."
With only a raised eyebrow in response, Jay grabs Jensen by the hand and drags him out into the torrential downpour, relishing the feel of the rain on his face. He drops a quick kiss on Jen's lips, then says, close to his ear, "Tag! You're it!" and runs, splashing through the puddles and mud.
