New Layout

So... I'm exceptionally tired of the coffee layout (too much orange), and have been yearning for something springy, with bright, optimistic greens. It's taken me a week to settle on this layout, after rejecting everything else available. It's not as bright as I want, but it'll do. I bet you could tweak the CSS to brighter colors... at least the sidebar, and the text. I'd say the background color on the entries isn't easy to change, since it's probably tied to the banner image. But I'd be willing to play with it for you...

Oh, thanks! :D The big thing is, I really just want the background to stay white, and to brighten up the text colors. I don't have a clue how to do *any* of that. O_O If you have any clue, let me know! Thanks! :D

I was researching the codes to altering the "Expressive" S2 style - and I do believe it's possible.

When you say background, do you mean the beige-ish color behind the entries, or the side strips that are mint green-ish? The beige would need an alteration of the header graphic, the green would not.

Hmmmm... *ponders possibilities*

I was referring to the entire background area behind the text. Sorry.

There are other layouts I like better for altering though, but that's just me being my picky, perfectionist self. :p

Thing is, I want it to be brighter. So sick of washed out and drab colors. x_x

Thanks, though! :)

I dunno. I've been dying to get some bright greens on here for spring. *shrug* It's back to the drawing board, I think, 'cuz I'm just not satisfied with this one. O_o
