2013 Resolutions, Plans, and Official To-Do List
Happy 2013, everyone!
I trust (and sincerely hope) that everyone had a safe New Year, and is back and ready to hit the ground running. My New Year was subdued, as hubby and I stayed home and watched the celebrations on TV, toasted the ball drop, and snacked on crackers, pepperoni, and cheese. The last 2 days have been slow, just winding down from the insanity of the holidays, but here I am at last, ready to make some lists!
*cracks knuckles*
I don't usually make resolutions, since I know how easy it is to break them without a second thought, but this year I've got a few. In 2013 I resolve and plan to:
1. Be more active in both fandom on LJ/DW and the knitting/crochet community at Ravelry.
2. Write and post more fic, including wrapping up several (at least 3!) series and challenges I have going on.
3. Lose at least 20 pounds that I put back on over the last 2 years. I just want my knees to stop hurting, my clothes to fit, and my lungs to stop burning when I exercise.
4. To knit & crochet at least 12 shawls (for the 12 Shawls Forever challenge on Ravelry).
5. To publish at least 6 patterns to be hosted on Ravelry, at least 2 of which will be paid patterns.
6. To share more of my finished knit/crochet projects, especially on Polycraftual.
And now, since it's been way longer than a year since I posted one of these, here's my Official 2013 To-Do List!
Immediate Items:
1. Post the most recent Superman Movieverse Pairings Challenge ficlets (3 to post)
2. Post the next 2 With Fortune's Hand ficlets
3. Finish and post 2 WFGE fics (These got away from me, I admit, but I'll get them done in the next week.)
4. Write and post a few more fics for 12Days and the DCU FFA Winter Challenge (I have until the 12th)
By the End of January:
1. Write & post at least 5K words of fic for Porn Battle 14 (it's coming up soon!)
2. Finish/Rewrite the Pink & Black sequel and post it for PB 14
3. Finish/Rewrite the next Hurt!Jay-verse fic, post
4. Write the fic between Better Sober and Pink Nightmare (it'll be a PB fic), polish Pink Nightmare, post both (these are Cougar!verse >:D)
5. Finish out the Superman Movieverse Pairings Challenge (about 5 more fics to go, some will be for the PB)
6. Finish off With Fortune's Hand (just 4 more to write once I post the 2 I have ready to go)
7. Write a few more pieces in the genderbent!Jay-verse. This is a positively hilarious plot bunny. XD
Long-Term Items:
1. Finish the (Un)Familiar-Verse. Just about 22 more parts to go! XD
2. Complete and post By Any Other Name, my Clois police AU
3. Complete the fic for Arkham Dreaming, my Jason Todd/Dean Winchester ficmix, post it all
4. Write and post at least 4 chapters of Lost Years (I want this one finished, darnit!)
5. Get *something* done with Aftermath. I might pull the whole thing when I make the final move to DW, then repost when I have it all fixed up.
6. Get at least half of my DCU FFA challenge completed.
7. Random AU one-shots: Clark/Richard military fic, Bruce finds Jason as a small child, Clark’s secret ID isn’t a secret, another installment in the Green-Tinged Horizon Verse
Back-Burner Items:
1. Convergence; with the way DC is going, I might never get this one collected into a 'verse and written out. Heh.
2. How to Save a Drowning Man, my XM:FC Charles/Eric mental institution AU
3. Chasing Fireflies, my SV/SPN x-over with Sam and Dean as kids being cared for by the Kents
4. My SPN amnesia fic (Wincest)
5. A whole host of other bunnies that might or might not be written, that I've been hoarding for years :p
Non-Ficcish Items:
1. Update fic indexes: add sub-headings for the Hurt!Jay-verse, Tango-verse, Bitch-verse (genderbent!Jay), and Joker!Jay-verse
2. Import LJ content to DW and start crossposting; yep, that's right, I'm making the move! No worries, though; I just won't be giving LJ any more money. Hmph.
3. Update DCU Fandom Guide
4. Fix sr_slash’s tags
5. See about possibly importing some fic to AO3
6. Keep DCU Free For All cleaned up, moving along, and challenging!

Wow. That's a lot of stuff. I suppose that's what I get for slacking off for most of 2012. XD Oh well. Time to get to it!
