Hubby and I have survived Hurricane Sandy unscathed. I think we might be in the only neighborhood in Northern Va that still has power. O_O We didn't even lose any trees, which must be some kind of miracle.

Hope you're all safe out there, that were in Sandy's path.

Hiii! I'm good. Great, really. No classes for two days, no loss of power, and no trees of death. The regional rail is a bit out, but two of my three classes cancelled for tomorrow; guess who's NOT going in for 50 minutes when the commute ONE way is double that~ >>;;

I took this as a sign to plan out for NaNoWriMo (which I could've SWORN I wasn't doing, lol). I'm glad you're okay, dear. <3 I never hear from you anymore. *snuggles*

I'm sorry I'm unhelpful for that. :/ Yeah, Bek is okay, but she doesn't have power, so she had to hang up on me pretty fast when I called. I'll give you a better update Thursday, since she and I have a class together. <3

EDIT: She's texting me about how we're getting to classes on Thursday, I'm thinking she'd fine. <3

And that's okay. I totally understand shifting fandom interests. I think the DCnU really killed what we all had going over here, too. :/

I moved over to tumblr to stay connected with some people, but man, that place changed some people for the worse. I...I'm seriously thinking about defriending (unfollowing, whatever) pervyficgirl over there. This makes me so sad inside, but her posts make me so sad now that she's decided old canon doesn't matter anymore ('cept for like erased characters, but obviously, just bring them into new canon). I dunno. I'd feel terrible doing it. ;-; I still like her so much as a person, but tumblr's also bringing out the worst in her, and yeah... ;-;

Sweet. You talked to Rex? Last I heard, he was good too. <3 (Bek's currently taking refuge in a Starbucks for power and internets, XD)

Honestly, I can't stand tumblr. Which is part of the reason that I'm seriously considering hopping over to DW for real; this latest crap with the friends page here is just one thing too far. So, yeah, I've lost touch with a lot of people that have drifted over to tumblr.

As for pervy, she defriended me over the whole Jensen Ackles as Jason Todd debacle. And the fic she wrote about it actually used part of my argument as to why it wasn't the death of fandom, in a way to mock those that supported the casting. Heh. So, she's been mostly off my radar, except when she helped get me an AO3 invite, and that she still posts to DCU FFA. Anyway, I don't blame you at all.

And doh, I thought Rex was wet coast. Glad to know he's okay, though.

Ah, no worries. All that was long ago, and I've forgiven and moved on. She and I just weren't compatible as friends. *shrug*

And of course. XD I don't know why I keep messing up where people live. Been doing that a lot lately.

Don't have Skype, but I'm saavik77 on Yahoo messenger. I'm not on often, though. Would have to know to be on. :p
