I know I've probably missed a lot of your wonderful fic as I've been pretty absent from LJ for the last several months. But I'm so glad I caught this one!

My very favourite type of fic is identity porn (regardless of how much or how little actual porn is involved in the identity play), and it's really only in this fandom that such fics really come out to play. And of course they play best when they're the Batfamily because of all their issues and all their aliases, so this was perfect.

I loved it, in fact. I tend to avoid a lot of Jason-centric fic, but you know I can't resist any Dick fic, and this one was worth the chance I took on Jason. I really enjoyed his POV, and it wouldn't have worked at all using Dick's POV in these scenes because he's basically alone in the Batfamily as being the one whose different personas remain essentially himself. Dick doesn't play roles the way the others do; he has different identities, but he never loses himself in them. He always knows who he is. So identity porn with Dick is always a bit trickier to write. And you managed it extremely well.

I absolutely adore ID porn in the DCU. Don't think I'd enjoy it nearly as much in other fandoms, but the Bats do really work it pretty awesomely. ^_~

Of course, you know I'm all about Jason, but I really did enjoy getting Dick out to play, since it was my first time writing his alter-egos. And you're absolutely right: Dick doesn't lose himself in the roles the same way the others do. Which I think makes this a pretty huge thing for him to do for Jason.
