SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! :D *twirls*

I'm so glad you liked this enough to quote half the story! ^_^

Now I'm imagining that when Clark is alone in the Fortress he just sits there transfixed for hours on end.

For some reason that image just wouldn't leave me alone. I know a lot of people might have him actually spend time *in* the habitat, but how much more poetic that he can't even go inside without risking losing his powers for an indefinite amount of time? Although.... oh, I don't need this plot bunny. O_o Not now... *whimper*

*sigh* *adds to list*

Ahem!

Mmm ... cowl-less AND cape-less Bruce!

Perfect, Y/Y? ^_~ I couldn't help adding that little description... mainly because, why would Bruce be walking around in the cape and cowl if they weren't going anywhere for three days? :p But Bruce in just the uniform and boots. Oh, yes..... ^_~

Ahhh, bio-geek Clark for the win! Actin! Myosin! Okazaki fragments! *swoon*

HAHA!!! Someone else appreciates the geekiness!!! *pumps fist* :D Of course, here's bio-geek Saavi *wishing* I could see that stuff. :p

So glad you liked the final exchange. I wanted to bring Clark back to his usual self, with the addition of this new tidbit of information about him. ^_^

Thank you so, SO much for commenting. *hugs*

I'm not sure but I read that Red Sun radiation was like an on-off switch or better still like carbon monoxide replacing oxygen because the cells prefer it better. As Kyrptonians are designed to absorb it. It blocks access to his powers as long as he is in the radiation. But as soon as he's out of it he's got his powers back immediately. I read it on the Superman Homepage in the past year. But maybe you should try to verify it. 'Cos I've also read other takes on it including a version that doesn't act immediately but that's no longer the case I believe. Also you could make up something to fit a plot as long as it makes sense seemingly if you wanted something different. You're good at that. I don't object especially 'cos officially S/B isn't as sexily a couple as they should be. ;-)

It makes the most sense to me that it would be like a slow replacement of energy. With no more photons entering in the yellow spectrum, the masses of energy storage molecules being produced would trickle down to zero. In the case of instantaneous energy transfer, it would still take a while. On the scale of a few days, probably. Of course, this only makes sense to me because I've thought out all the processes in detail, developing a hybrid photosynthesis/cellular respiration process that basically cuts out the middle man (glucose). I'm pretty much ignoring everything put out there that doesn't hold water scientifically. :p

The other thing is, he'd be held under extreme gravity. Flight and strength would be cut down significantly. Anyway, the point of the plot bunny would be more about him taking a risk, not knowing what might happen.
