bradygirl_12 gave me the following subjects:
1. Brandon Routh: I'm such a sucker for his portrayal of Clark Kent in Superman Returns. :p Seeing the movie got me addicted to both Superman and to the actor, and it was a long downward spiral into fandom from there. :p I'm not as active on the BR.C forum as I used to be, but I still check in from time to time to see what's up with him.
2. DCU Free For All: I'm still so pleased with how the FFA has turned out. A year in, and it's still as fun a project as it was at the outset. I love challenges! XD
3. Star Trek: Truly, my first fandom. I've been a Trekkie since I was 14 and fell in love with Classic Trek and Next Gen. Saavik was (obviously!) my favorite character from the beginning, and I adored Saavik/David and Data/Tasha. ^_~ It's been many years since I went to a convention, but I'm looking forward to getting back into the fandom when the new movie comes out! Also, for our honeymoon, hubby and I went to Las Vegas to see the Star Trek Experience. ^_~ Man, it was awesome!
4. Knitting: Interesting, since I'm more a crocheter than a knitter! :p I've been crocheting for years, but only just started knitting so I could make hubby the Doctor Who scarf. :p It's a slow process, but I'm learning!
5. Biology: Ah, biology, love of my intellectual life. ^_^ I've always loved the biological sciences, and knew from a young age that I wanted to do something in the field for a career. I wanted to be a paleontologist, and a geneticist, and a zoologist specializing in big cats, and a cat breeder, and on and on, but since none of those things panned out, I turned to teaching my favorite subject. It's quite possible that I get entirely too excited about protein synthesis and Mendelian genetics when I get to teach those subjects. I'm such a geek! XD
