Before I get started posting Aftermath, I figure I should start with a much smaller piece. :p So, to get everyone's attention.... here's my one shot - a steamy Clois encounter one late night in the bullpen after everyone else has gone home. ;)

Clark's mouth twisted up into a slight smile at that, his dark eyes lightening just a bit to a glittering blue with the lights of the city. “I... thought that was kind of amusing, actually.”

*falls over* I love this moment! Clark's wry sense of humor about being seen as "Puritanical," knowing both that it's rather historically inaccurate and that it doesn't fit him as well as she thinks...very sexy!

Clark's flustered attempts to tell her the truth are very charming and very in-character...as is her lack of interest in hearing it right now. :)

It's a shame you feel like you have to keep this locked! You couldn't risk unlocking it so you can post links to or cloisfic? Or maybe you should make a new LJ that's more anonymous? Because it would be shame if you had to keep your fic locked up and limited in access...

Hee hee! So glad you came to read this! And I'm tickled pink that you liked it. ^_^ I tried very hard to stay with the characters, though I felt that Clark might, in all reality, have told Lois no and insisted she hear him out. Silly farm boy. :p I just wanted to get them together so bad. >_<

I might just unlock the posts, since school is just about over with. Hadn't considered posting to cloisfic or superman_return, but I just might do that. Thanks for the suggestion! I'd always welcome more feedback if I can get it.
