TV Squee and Flail

I don't know why I'm not doing these for Smallville and Supernatural, but Heroes is really getting into my brain again (thanks, Sylar! O_o), and there's so much to wonder about...

First thing's first, Niki and Tracey were part of triplets!? O_o I'm not sure how that works with the canon of Niki and Jessica being twins, unless Jessica *was* Barbara. But the Doc said they were all separated, so... *shrug* While most of you are angry about the retcon, I'm gonna be optimistic and hope the writers know what they're doing, and have a grand plan. :p

The thing that really struck me about the triplets revelation last night, though, was that it finally sunk in that Niki/Jessica is dead. I don't know why it took me so long to get it, but the reality of it is just heartbreaking. Poor Micah!! :( He really is an orphan now... And with that, I say, why don't we have any Monica this season? Hadn't she gone to Mohinder and the Company for help? I was really looking forward to her story line, especially if it would have meant more Nichelle Nichols!

Moving on, I really, *really* do not like Linderman and his mysterious appearance to Nathan. It's just feeding poor Nathan's psychosis. I get the feeling that Nathan would be quite a bit less of a crackpot right now if he wasn't seeing an imaginary friend everywhere.

On the subject of Nathan, I'm immensely enjoying the Nathan/Tracey pairing so far. Adrian and Ali have had great chemistry since the beginning, and it just seems to work that they'd be together in some form of the original pairing. :p Nathan/Ali triplet OTP! XD I'm even considering a coda to last night's ep, with Nathan/Tracey, though I probably won't end up writing it. :p

Now, the Petrellis on the grand scale. A lot of folks have mentioned that Sylar was a psycho with or without his ability. I offer two alternatives: 1) He was a bit of a psycho before the power brought it out and made it worse. With the propensity for mental illness to run in families, it should come as no surprise then that both Nathan and Peter are going coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs, and that Claire might do the same. Mama Petrelli is clearly already on that train, too. 2) Considering the spoiler in the preview for next week, where Mama P. tells Nathan that she gave him his ability (presumably with the formula), that opens up the possibility that using the formula makes you whacko. What if she gave the formula to all 3 of her sons? Would make sense. Heck, look at how well that's worked out for the Ali triplets, and for Mohinder! O_o

And Mohinder... gods, I hope they find a way to reverse what he's done to himself. :( Poor fool. What did I tell you about using yourself as a test subject, Momo? Now do you believe me? *glares at him* Because clearly, what you've done is gonna drive Matt right into the arms of Daphne, who clearly belongs with Hiro. Such a mess.

As this post has rambled on through everything, I think I'll sum up the rest of my points:

Domestic!daddy!Gabriel = yummy, and far too interesting to have let die already. *shifty eyes* And just who was little Noah's mother!? O_O

Matt, go home to Mohinder already! Though the psychic vision *was* cool as hell. And your totem is a tortoise. XD *giggles*

Daphne, go rescue Hiro and Ando from the Company! How else are they gonna save the world? Hiro *needs* you!

Peter, wtf!? Tone down the psycho please, and lay off of Sylar already. He can't become domestic!daddy!Gabriel if you kill him! It's bad enough you assassinated the President killed Nathan in the future, sheesh.

Okay, I'm done. Carry on. ^_~
