Yesterday was my spinning guild meeting. I didn't bring my wheel or anything because I got there late and had to leave early, but I did buy some wool! I redeemed myself a little by saying, "I remember it's 100,419 because 4-19 is your birthday." Also I bought her a heart-shaped tin of Altoids today.

I've already started rereading it, looking for minor mistakes and inconsistencies as well as places that need better transitions and so forth. Since this was my Nano book, there are big chunks of it I haven't even read since I wrote them. I hope it's as good as I remember. :)

how exciting! People told me to let mine sit a few weeks or so, but I was too excited to see if it sounded like anything. I couldn't just leave it and not know.

That's how I am--I just have to read it now. I suppose I can set it aside afterwards and then come back to it.
