Tired of Tires!

A few years ago, when my truck was new, some asshat kid went up and down the street one night slashing tires. They only got one of mine but some people had all four slashed. No one knew for sure who the kid was, but we had a neighbor a few doors down with a high school aged son who was apparently under suspicion. I knew he hadn't done it--he was ( Read more... )

Oh, I'd trade places with you in one second! But you have to pay this month's $250 heating bill for me. :)

Now wait, you would trade places with me but only if I pay this month's heating bill. This benefits me how, again?

*Thinks* Well, obviously you'd get an otherwise free trip back to Pennsylvania. And, um, I'd pay YOUR heating bill for the month, too! Yeah! Also, I would give you two cats.

No, wait, I take it back about the cats.

I already have two cats. A large primary, and a small backup.

I do miss the Pennsylvania ambiance but my utility bill was close to $100 because of my natural gas heat. So, I don't know if you would benefit beyond the currently fine weather.

That's right, I'd forgotten about your cats. We definitely don't want to start mixing the cats together. One of my cats thinks he's the only cat in the world and attacks anything else that's shaped like a cat, which makes it hard on my other cat. They don't get along.

Wow, I'm surprised you have much of a heating bill at all! I will now stop feeling sorry for myself, even though I have my thermostat set to 56 so I don't have to sell plasma to pay for the heat. Thank goodness spring is on the way (or so I've been assured).

It's been chilly at night but not for much longer, I think. Also, I get paid pretty well at the moment so it's no skin off my nose. I can even take your heating bill off your hands this month if you want.

That's sweet of you, but I'll be fine. I tend to complain more than I need to. :) If I would get off my lazy butt and find a real job I'd be in gravy, because my expenses are really low (when I'm not destroying my truck). I'm glad you're doing well, too!
