Bill Freeto lies near death
Last night was Sunday, and Bill Freeto's sister Betty called me to let me know that Mr. Bill, who had a cold the last time I talked to him, is in ICU at Resurrection Hospital, literally at death's door. He's been put on a ventilator, and a coma has been induced to keep him from moving or coughing. It's some kind of weird respiratory thing, they think, but they don't know yet.

Old Town School of Folk Music have been taking her to visit him because she hasn't got a car. Bill has been in The Beatles Ensemble as long as I can remember.He's my pal from back in the 1960s, and I hope you'll send some prayers and good wishes his way.
