Blagargh
Phew. I am sooo exhausted. I worked this morning, covering classes. It's weird cause it's the first time that I've coached rec and the first time that I've coached classes in Whitby all together. I've done birthday parties there before. It was good though, they were the really little rec kids, so it's practically the same as what I teach, just longer classes, and the kids can sit still and listen much better, for the most part. I didn't have any energy, but I was working with Dylan and michelle and Tiffany, and they're all cool, so it worked out pretty well.
So yeah, This is my first evening home since monday. I am a busy bee. I went to youth group last night (it was soooo much fun, Rochelle came, she couldn't come last week, but she came this week and we were all so excited, plus carina and Jo's friend from school came, and we did a really fun activity, and in any case it was super cool and I can not wait till WINTER WEEKEND07!!) Also yesterday there was samba band right after school. It was much fun, not a lot of people there cause it was the first one and people didn't know when it starts, so yeah. However, it was mostly friends from my grade, so it was sweet. We have to wear ear plugs cause the drums are so loud!=D
On thursday, Kelli and I went to help out at gr nine social(lol, we didn't even go to our own) But it was fun casue we got to be, like, bouncers at the door, and then later we got to atand at the back to make sure that no one came in or went out the back doors (they were open for air) so we got to cool off AND dance and be as ridiculous as possible, which we definitely did, lol. I mean, we were in the back corner where there's like no one, the kids were all crowded up closer to the front, where the stage was, and so yeah. We just jumped around a whole lot and were extremely hyper. And we got free glow sticks =) So that was extremely fun, me and Kelli are quite a dangerous combination, lol.
So that was thrusday night, hmmm. thursday afternoon was grade nine orientation, which was awesome cause i got to miss math, and It was such a nice day outside. But also it was brutal. So, we're outside on the field, and every council runs an event/game. And so, I'm with SSC (Students Saving Children) and we planned a dress-up relay race, so there were like, big dress up clothes, and the kids hafta run and put the all on, then run around a chair three times, then tag the next person to go. So it's pretty hilarious. Cept that Christine was sick that day, and her grandpa had just died, and hse was miserable, so she had to go home and she couldn't run her council's event because one girl that was helping her had sprained her ankle and couldn't do it anymore, and anohter girl decided that she could only come for one period, and that left me (not actually in the council, but very loud and outgoing and able to take charge) and two others (in the council, shy, quiet, not authoritative in the least). So yeah, that was umm....interesting. But the kids get bored of listening to nstructions and stuff after a while, and some groups were really big and it didn't work out, and sometimes it took forevre to get organized so we didn't get to finish our activity, and sometimes they just wouldn't listen. So anyways, there was other stuff too that was annnoyning, so it was a kinda exhausting afternoon, but in the end it didn't work out thaaattt badly.
Wednesday and tuesday were work, those are good so far, I don't really remember details =P So anyways, tired of typing now, gonna finish math homework (from thursday, lol) then go to bed. =D Hurrah for bed. Whoever invented it, i owe them much
