If | 049 If Harry took slightly longer time to get dressed than strictly necessary, no one chose to comment on it. He had, after all, just won them the last game of the year. They didn’t win the Cup, no, but the victory meant that neither did Slytherin and instead Ravenclaw ended up on top.
Ron slapped him amicably on the back as he, hair wet and tousled, walked past. Harry smiled at his Ron’s back, then continued to undress. Ron had been the last of the team to linger and Harry was now completely alone.
“Harry.”
Perhaps not completely, then. Harry’s bare shoulders tensed. “Oliver,” he murmured without turning around. He dropped his gauntlets to the ground. “What brings you here?”
“Can’t visit an old friend?”
Harry grinned and shook his head. He turned around and crossed his arms, then leaned back against the cold tiled wall behind him. “You never have before.”
Oliver shrugged and ran a hand through his short hair. “I was in the area,” he said elusively.
“Yeah?”
Oliver nodded. “Hogsmeade.”
Harry narrowed his eyes. “So you weren’t here to check out potential players for Puddlemere, then? Ron couldn’t stop yammering on about it when Slytherin called a time-out.”
Oliver grinned, his eyes taking on a certain glint. “Check someone out, perhaps, but not as a potential team-mate. You’re a ruddy good Seeker, you know. Always a thrill to watch you.” Oliver pointedly looked Harry over, lingering longer in some places than others. Harry felt his ears warm slightly, acutely aware of that he was more or less naked - only his underwear was still on, the rest of his clothes lay in a heap about his feet. “You’re looking better than I remembered.”
Harry cleared his throat. “So are you,” he said. Oliver straightened and raised his chin attentively. “I’m all sweaty, mate. I was about to take a shower…”
“Yeah?”
“You’re…wanna-” Harry coughed and levelled a frank stare at Oliver. He gestured towards the showers with his head. “You know?”
Oliver grinned and stepped closer, “Never thought you’d ask,” and began to tug his worn Puddlemere United T-shirt over his head.
