Billy Mays, the seemingly obnoxious man who yells in advertisements whoalso shows a wonderful, funny and down-to-earth side of himself in the Discovery Channel "Pitchmen" with fellow pitchmen Anthony Sullivan, has passed away.
He was among the passengers who were injured (although not seriously) when a tire blew out in the plane he was flying on. Billy mentioned he was hit but he has "a hard head" and was supposedly fine a few hours after he landed. His wife was unable to wake him up the next morning.
We'll never forget you... Seriously we can't. I can literally still hear him from last week's episode :(
UPDATE: Autopsy reports show that Billy did not have severe head trauma as speculated (much like how Natasha Richardson died). He died of complications from Heart Disease. He also had his third hip replaced recently and was taking medication for it so you can rule out drug abuse. Man, what a way to go.
