"Iron Man"?

(oops... wrong picture)

After I got out of work, I met up with Vince at The Palms to wait for the 8:00 pm showing for "Iron Man". I was horrified to see a long line near the box office-- it was for "Made of Honor"! When the line started moving along, Vince and I joined in hoping they've already set up a separate line. When I gave them the tickets, one of the managers said they're still seating people for "Made of Honor" and asked us to wait near the box office. So Vince and I left the line, looped around and ended up in the front line again a minute later. The same manager pointed at us and asked "Iron Man?" and we both nodded happily. Annoyed, she announced that they will start forming a line for the 8:00 pm show and people quickly lined up behind us.

We waited for almost an hour, just playing our Nintendo DS to pass the time. Unfortunately, a small group of stupid Mexicans were behind us, rapping and being philosophical. For example, one yelled out, "You know what? I don't even like Marvel! I like Capcom! ... RAIYUU!" A few minutes before they let us in, one of the staff members handed out free "Iron Man" posters to the first group of people in line (Vince and I are 3rd and 4th, respectively).

There were excellent new movie trailers, such as the "The Dark Knight", "Incredible Hulk", "The Spirit" -- "The Happening" was met with boos and everybody except us laughed at Mike Myers' "The Love Guru" -- and last but not least, "Indiana Jones".

The movie was excellent. Robert Downey Jr. was awesome as Tony Stark. That's all I can say. Just go and watch it, you won't be disappointed.

Hooray for Senior pricing!
