Some well deserved updates to note
Accenture Volleyball League started. We lost our first game. Grrr I will be a spiker/blocker next time. I have confidence that I can do both compared to the first game that I was only a blocker. If my memory serves me correctly the next game is on Thursday. I hope I can go with a team mate to and from Meralco Gym. Ballroom was not offered in April sessions so Volleyball and Basketball are all I have now.
Club Manila East outing this coming Saturday. Too bad some of the people I want to be there backed out suddenly.
Watched Doomsday yesterday and it rocks. Gore and blood hehehe. Hungry? How about a piece of your friend?
Was able to retrieve my files in the busted portable hard drive using Ubuntu live disc (I kept wondering why the heck did it take too long for the thought to use Ubuntu to cross my mind). Luckily I didn't have much to back up so my 1GB FD was enough to transfer the files from Ubuntu to windows. After that ordeal of transferring files between OS's, the portable hard drive suddenly started working? That's too weird. So I copied some of the "condemned to deletion" files I decided I can live without backup and then reformatted the drive. I thought it was fixed but when I tried to access the device again, it won't respond. Good thing my dad is going to Shanghai on Tuesday.
