Our project team's October Sportsfest is over and we only placed second. T_T
Many of my team mates say that the event was rigged. I believe so too. In fact they were chanting bluetooth (Blue team was the team who won and since they were prohibited to chant luto, this was the next best thing.) during the awards ceremony for the teams. Who wouldn't be convinced that the games were rigged in favor of the blue team?
1) The mechanics of the games were made by members of the Blue Team. HELLO??? Please learn how to differentiate circumference from diameter!!! The mechanics in the dodgeball game says that the balls were 12 inches in diameter and then you guys provide us with balls the size of baseballs??? I don't even think that the balls even reach 12 inches in circumference let alone diameter, and due to the defect in the balls being so light you had to reduce the size of the court from basketball to volleyball... Sorry I'm just bitter due to the fact that the dodgeball game I expected didn't turn out to be. Plus with the reduction of the size of the court, my big size really did became a liability.
2) During the halloween party, all of the team members came in matching uniforms NOT of their respective schools but they created their own school, the rules specifically said that you should come in your school's outfit or PE outfit or CAT/ROTC outfit or Japanese school uniform. I wouldn't mind if they came in Japanese school uniforms and created a fictional school, but they came in shirts and jogging pants. That is so unfair since there are bonus points for the teams with members who came to the halloween party in their school outfits and deductions for those who didn't.
3) The judges in the final games during the party were also... if you say members of the blue team then you would be correct.
Oh well... Never mind. 2nd place has a cash prize of P6000. Bonus funds for team building activities hehehe. But I would like it if we were first place because of that trophy... Oh well there's still next year!!!!
