Wow, I haven't updated in a while. Not too much is going on, as usual. Tonight I was at a car meet w/ josh, mark, ashley, montana, and a few other people I know. It was awesome. lots of VWs and Audis, and can't forget my volvo! not that it's german but hey it's still an import, from sweden anyway. So it was awesome. We chilled at joshs and had dinner there, then went to ashleys for a sec, then went to the meet. while we were chillin there we hear this screeching and a sound like a cardboard box filled with stuff being dropped from a 2nd story window. Two cars collided over by the entrance to the eastbound (?) 101 fwy entrance at valley circle and calabasas road. From where we were further down the street, it didn't sound too bad, but when we looked up and saw steam and stuff flying we figured it was worse. When I went past it on my way out I noticed one of the cars' airbags deployed and a girl was in the front seat of the other car screaming in shock. God, horrible memories were incurred by that. I stopped and asked if I could help, but nothing doing. At least I tried, as opposed to like a hundred kids standing on a street corner staring at the wrecked cars. I hope everyone was ok. A ford or nissan aint no volvo (sherman tank, I'm telling you) I owe my life to those crazy swedes. But I didn't expect too much from a car company who prides themselves upon what their freaking taillights look like, not their safety rating. I'm also a little biased after some idiot in an altima ran a red light and plowed into my dad's audi A6 back when I was in 6th grade.. (I was in the backseat and it messed up my back) needless to say, the accident in march didn't help things much w/ my back. I've decided accidents are nothing I ever want to be involved in ever again (not that it wasn't an implied decision) and I'm really careful nowadays. Don't wanna lose my S80. Wanna bust it way past 100 thousand miles on its odometer one day. I had this kinda weird intuition today as I sat on the beach during guards. I was lookin towards the PCH and I was wondering w/ all the cars how it was that no accident had occured in my presence within the time period I spend on the beach every day in the summer. Sometimes weird stuff like that happens. maybe it's that thing they call like deja-vu oriented prediction or something. it's like you hear something and your mind produces some kind of an impulse that makes something that would make that sound occur, and then splices the two together and then you hear it, so it seems like you randomly just knew it was gonna happen. if that makes any sense at all. I was sittin in summer school today with my head down and eyes closed, and all of a sudden I had like a mental image of something flying through the air and hitting a poster on the wall, only I heard the noise the thing made when it hit the poster, and that didn't seem right because I never saw it because my head was down. It was like I predicted it. Weird. Anyway when I looked up I saw an eraser on the floor by the poster and the poster had a dent in it from the eraser. Kinda scary. Anyway, I've been on the beach every day since monday from 1:30 to 5:00, running, swimming around buoys, stretching, push-upping..? lol and doing situps. My body is in agony but I have that exhilarating feeling only a workout can give you at the same time. At least I know I'll be nice and fit by the end of the summer. Anyway, I'm out, very sleepy right now. lots of excitement to contend with. Not only the accident tonight, but guards as well, and the prospect of having it again tomorrow after a nice sleep-in. Nite all, lol sleep well. Late.
