Comments not showing up at all

Okay! So here is my weird issue. When I scroll through my journal, it shows me how many comments are in each entry. Simple, right? The thumbnail below will demonstrate that. (Click to make larger.)




Now, when I click on the number of comments, they should all show up. However, all I get is my header, the header links...and a bunch of blank space. See below.






The weird thing about all that is that I'm able to see the comments in the newer threads I've started, but not in older ones with lots of comments? I'm wondering, is this an issue that happens when you get too many comments, and they just don't show up? What can I do to fix this? Any assistance is much appreciated. The CSS coding is below.
