tag cloud in custom layout

Hey helpful people,

I'm currently using this layout, and I'd love to have my tags displayed in a cloud as opposed to a list. But when I tried adding this code to the custom stylesheet, it completely destroyed the layout and didn't create a tag cloud either.

Any ideas about why this might be happening and what I can do to fix it? I've become quite attached to the tag cloud option in Mixit, and I don't know if I can go back to a regular old tag list anymore (:
