do I stick this on the end of the rest of my code? or does it need to be in a specific spot?

thanks. I understand what the "knock entry" button does. what does "mark entry" mean?

sends that entry to the top of the viewing area. also puts a note about it in the address bar. if you leave your friends page and come back to it, you'll know the username and "itemid" of the entry that you left off at. :)

i... don't think i've actually created one specifically for component.

i might be able to hack something up in a couple days.

currently helping my mother to move from one end of the city to the other and it's taking several days. x.x

Ugh. I've been trying to massage the code, but I haven't been able to figure out how to put a link in with the other edit links or even the comment links. I'll keep working on it and let you know if I get it to work.

this may work better.

it's not specifically tailored to Component, but, i think it should give you a starting point.
