Five days till awesome time! n___n
Though my "wife" has requested that I open her gift out of public view. I begin to suspect something pink. And possibly vibrate-y, lacy, or fluffy >.> xDD.
Mum insists I open it in front of everyone ;P. Ah, curiosity kills me.
So aside from a few invitation debacles (one of which I'm still not sure has been solved, but anyway), it should be fun. Justyn will be helping me dunk the drunks when they fall into the pool ;P. Our beloved swampy, Shadowmaster, of course, will be bringing jars with which to pursue scorpions, because the last few he absconded with after the camp-out have since become defunct xDD.
AND FLEIGH COMES HOME FROM GERMANY IN THREE DAYS!!! ♥♥♥ <3
And thus, the period leading up to said awesome time will be filled with much frantic cleaning, for the shed is a disaster zone and the house is... like the house usually is x).
I've asked for a tablet, but am not sure whether or not I can expect one, because Mum sleepily informed me that it was too expensive, but normally when she says such things, it has already been arranged. Of course, given the state of our fiscal affairs, "too expensive" could very well be the honest truth xDD ;P.
I wants me a tablet sooo bad ;___; ;P.
Christmas has, once again, gone from something to look forward to, to a pulsing migraine xDD. Just when we thought we had escaped the hell of celebrating in the city (that may not sound very nice, but I do not lie: it IS hell o.o), we get a phone call informing us that they would like to have Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve instead.
WTF?
This all for the convenience of my aunt and uncle, who are going down the coast to spend the holiday with his sister xDD. Needless to say, no-one on this side of the valley is happy about it ;P.
We'll just have our own Christmas, thank you very much xDD.
In happier news, we should have an oven AND air-con by then! We haven't had an oven for over six months now, so the prospect of no more microwaving and barbecuing makes everyone a happy chipmunk n__n.
Ah, I still remember the night it died... I do believe I was in a state of severe panic over the impending exams (my first university lot ever!), and when, after three hours, the roast remained frozen, we despaired and then shoved it in the microwave.
Best. Roast. Ever xDD. IT WAS CRISPY! 8D I happen to love dry, stringy meat, especially when smothered in liberal amounts of gravy n___n.
Love for the gravy ♥.
I have too much writing and arts to do... Better try to make some headway after dishes 8D ;P.
...
Wow. That was completely random 8D.
