Position of "entry security icon" code?

I am working on a new style for my LJ, and have been having the biggest headache. I have been able to change the security icons on other layouts (using .ljuser img {), but on my own LJ and one one particular comm, the code won't compile. Is there a certain place in my stylesheet to place this code, so it will compile?

I am having trouble with the S2 compiler in general. Even for non life-changing edits like the color of an element, the compiler just idles.

Also, not sure why the Bold isn't bolding. Thoughts?
