Random bar and date/subject issues?/SOLVED!

I've been trying to design my layout and everything is going pretty good except the date and subject are jutting out from either sides of the entry.
I also can't seem to remove the border.
What's more there is a strange (and annoying) box showing up on the tail end of the date, in gray with a thing white border.
I have no clue as to how it go there or what it is, so I'm not sure how to get rid of it.
I'm not sure how to post my CSS stylesheet so once I find out I will edit this post.
