I've been busy fixing my LJ and this comm has helped me out so much!!! Thanks a lot!!! But I have this question. Is it possible to make the background of the entries/sidebar to be a bit transparent so that my background could be seen and at the same time for my posts to be readable? sorta like my journal?

I was reading up on this, and while opacity works on Firefox and Safari, it doesn't on IE. I have software that will do it and I'd be happy to help. If you'd like to give me the url of the photo you're using, I can download and fix it for you.

I know. I can't find a happy medium. It looks different on all three browsers I use too (firefox, IE and Safari). I actually borrowed the layout, but just keep changing the photo (with the owner's approval). Myself, I have a 15" mac at home, and it looks okay. At work where I do have a larger monitor, yeah, it does have a lot of unused space.
