Changing Sidebar Widths in Mixit (Resolved, Thanks!)

Sep 01, 2009 14:57

I've just changed my journal layout to a theme for Mixit I found on the layout commuinity thefulcrum. The layout itself can be found here, complete with full CSS. I really like the way it looks, but I was wondering if it was possible to change a couple of things relating to the sidebar.

The sidebar as things stand strikes me as really wide, and I don't much like that. I think I kind-of worked out what I needed to change in the CSS to make the sidebar narrower, but when I did so I ended up cutting off the user info in the profile box, meaning that my username, screen name and homepage link were lost beneath the entry column. To that end I was wondering if it was possible to move the user info down below my user icon, and possibly shrink the point size of the font on the links for my username, screen name and webpage.

Basically, currently the top of the sidebar in my journal layout looks like the image on the left and I'd rather it looked more like the image on the right, just with a smaller font on the three lines of text beneath my avatar, rather more like the size of the font in the 'profile' box above it:

Does anyone know what I'd need to fix to do this, if it's doable at all? Any help on the matter would be gratefully appreciated.

Sorry about making a new post, but I'm a complete n00b when it comes to CSS, so a fix to this could be lurking somewhere in the tags but I wouldn't have any idea where to even start to look for it.

sidebar:profile, sidebar:size
