Trying to enlarge the center column - SCRATCHED

Hi, I'm a paid member.

I have a jounal I love ( susanwrites ) and I am trying to adapt that design for a new journal poppiness

I've made some of the changes I want but what I can't figure out how to do is to enlarge the center section so that I can post larger pictures. The sidebars on each side are a fine width so I thought I could reduce the green on each side in order to get a larger center section but like I said, I can't figure out how to do it.

NOTE: I've let go of this idea and altered the design to a 2 column that gives me more room for photos.
