Showing filter name on entries when friends-filtered

not yet, but it was apparently a planned feature, so just wait. In the meantime you can find all entries with a particular filter:

http://martygreene.livejournal.com/security/group:gardening

replace gardening with the group's name.

Here's a link to similar idea in suggestions, but it looks like nothing has become of it. I experimented around a little with theme layer code, but as of now the style system only differentiates between "protected" and "public"; in other words, it doesn't have access to the filter names.

This is completely independent of style, by the way.

If you're still interested, it appears this feature has been implemented. You may want to watch lj_releases to find out when this change actually becomes active.
