So
I need to get my car ready for the big show on the 10th. Don't have much time, don't have much money. I've been luckily selling some things so that's helping, but I want to take at least $600 with me. It'll be a little over $200 for the hotel alone, so that'll give me plenty of money for food, gas, and parts in case something breaks along the way. I'll also see about re-upping my AAA membership. So far I need to paint a few things, change some fluids on the car, and put all the parts back into it. Then I'll give it a nice cleaning and wax it, and start my list of things I need to bring with me. On the way I'll be picking up a few things, so car space is going to be limited. I'll have four tires/wheels in my car once I hit Pittsburg, and they'll stay there the entire time.
I'll be leaving either Wednesday or Thursday, and I should be gone until Monday or Tuesday. I think I'll be home Monday afternoon/evening. This is gonna be fun. It's something like a six and a half hour drive. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone else from our group is going to be leaving the same time as me, so there won't be a chance to caravan. But once I get there, there's about 35 of us who have registered, so I'm excited.
In other news, I'm taking an inventory of myself and what I need and want out of life. I've done some stupid things lately, hurt some people's feelings, and gotten my own hurt. So... I'm going to focus on my car for a while, do more stuff at work. Hopefully this will keep me busy.
Also I need to start meditating and investigating more. I think that'll relieve a lot of stress and help me get things sorted out. Plus I'll need the extra concentration for all the detail work I'll be doing to my car.
Other than that, nothing is really new. Maybe I'll start posting here more often. I dunno. I don't use this site that much, and haven't been on in months. But I think it'll help
