I can imagine how heartbreaking that scene was, seeing someone getting raped in front of you, yet you can't do a single thing about it. Omg, poor Kevin, forever getting raped. THAT MAN SHOULD BE HANGED, THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAN RAPE KEVIN IS KIBUM. Of course, them 2 having sex with each other willingly is better)

So after being through all that, Kevin is hardened/numb now? And so he's trying to forget his past?

This was my guess:
I thought that Kevin had an abusive father. Then I thought that he might have a sick mother that he had to take care of.. that's why he has to go out and work. But rofl, that doesn't make sense now that I think about it. Oh well, I'm always wrong LOL. I really didn't expect those two to have met beforehand...
