35 U-Kiss Fic Challenge Prompt: 11. Anyone Else But You [Eli/Kibum]

Author's Notes: This is just an attempt to cheer myself up. I’m sorry for the title because I couldn’t give this a proper name.
Kibum has been happy. In fact, it had been too long since he actually slept well and now that he's on a self-proclaimed holiday, he's happy.
He was surfing the net as usual, checking whether there were new orders for his merchandises, new updates from his friends' about their lives, or any international news like the royal wedding or whatsoever.
As he was checking his mentions on Twitter, he saw a curious tweet and a link beside it. He would usually shrug it away as spam or a random picture, but the tweet was a little suspicious.
"Do you have anything to say?"
It definitely wasn't spam from a random person. The display picture had his face. Besides, he recognise the English words of the username. This person was a U-Kiss fan.
Slightly curious though slightly wary, he clicked the link and prepared himself for the worst.
Only that it was even worse than what he had expected.
Kevin...was smiling.
That was a good thing, if Kibum could ignore the other half of the picture with Eli jutting out his lips, as if ready to kiss Kevin full on the lips.
Those bright red lipstick stains, tainting Kevin of his natural angelic white glow, so bright it hurt Kibum's eyes. That smile so wide that Kibum couldn't even bring himself to lie to his insecure self, that no, it was just a planned photograph. And that arm, in the angle where the least force could be exerted to push Eli away.
He stopped breathing.
The buzz from his phone brought him back to life, panting for air as he did.
"He's not worth it. Forget him."
As usual, his brother was trying all sorts of way to get him to forget Kevin to move on.
Except that usually, Hyungjoon wasn't on the same plane to the same destination. Kibum feared Hyungjoon witnessed something.
Except that usually, there wasn't a picture that screamed evidence. Kibum feared the worst.

"I trusted you. It could be anyone else but you." Kibum shouted, delivering the painful punch released from the bottom of his heart.
Eli bent his back to protect his stomach from future attacks, leaving him in a more vulnerable position than before. Kibum grabbed the younger's collar and pushed him towards the wall, a trail of tears leaving the corner of his eyes.
Eli looked back, breathless. From the fear of the unknown, from the attempt to transfer the pain out of his body.
"You were the only one who knew." Kibum frowned, eyes switching to contain fury and punching Eli's abdomen another time. "Of us. You said you wished us the best."
Eli couldn't argue against that, nor did he have the desire to. He could already guess what this was about when a message was sent for them to meet up, with not a word of kindness in it.
"I get your pain, but he wanted it." Eli replied, answer obviously pissing Kibum off even more. He suffered a few more blows before he finally finished what he wanted to say. "He hates you."
"No, he doesn't!" Kibum growled, about to attack when Eli punched him back on his face.
"Would you listen to me?!" Eli yelled. "He freaking hates you. He freaking hates you for breaking his heart."
"Then I hate him too!" Kibum angrily glared back, words probably not registering in his head.
"Exactly! And that's the mental condition of Kevin's I'm dealing with every day!" Eli shouted, grabbing Kibum's shirt and pulling him close, wanting him to listen. "Instead of doing constructive things, he spend his day saying how he regrets loving you. He is easily satisfied as a human being, thus he could obtain happiness from somewhere else that never fades. For the both of you, the situation now allows the past to bite your heart even harder. It's not the sadness of your leaving he cries for when no one is looking..."
It's the happiness of being together once and realising that it is over now.
And that's why he regrets the love, the bond, once upon a time, unbreakable.
"Would you deny him what he wanted if you were in my place?" Eli softened as Kibum grew limp, and Eli switched their position to lean Kibum against the wall. "He pleaded me to make him feel loved."
"Four times..." Kibum weakly muttered.
"I'm sorry."
It's time to let go, to give up, to move on.
Isn't it?
Kibum nodded, giving a sad smile. He shifted away from Eli and patted his shoulders, small action with a thousand emotions conveyed.
"He's all yours."

Obviously, this is my reply
to the certain photo I saw. Erm, sorry if it didn't feel friendship-ish enough for you guys. For me, you need to trust your friend to put someone you love in their hands and that's the sort of thing I was trying to write. It's not actually supporting Kemaru nor Elvin, I guess... But everyone knows what I’m suffering from. A broken heart.
Just had to post this within this time because I was trying to vent my anger and was wondering who’s in this with me :S.
