Disbelief.
Having a family full of Virginia university alum (husband from UVA, sister from W&M, and a brother-in-law from Tech) and being a VA university alum myself (JMU), I am still in disbelief from today's events. Already, I've had a friend of a friend who is a victim in this tragedy. It really puts things into perspective, and I have nothing but the deepest condolences for the victims and their family and friends.
My thoughts go out to anyone who may have family and/or friends at Tech. I sincerely hope everyone you know is safe tonight.
(Also, I'd like to know what the hell Tech was thinking to not cancel classes after the first shooting. I seriously hope lawsuits ensue.)
