You know Kris and I sat down to watch the news together last night. I really don't know why I started to watch the news but I did. Anyway, before hand, he had spent the whole day with me and I was in a really good mood. Being in love does that to you, ya know? So anyway, we're watching the news, and the mood changes. I'm not all happy anymore, seeing these people in pure hell is just horrible. I was listening to this one guy from New Orleans as he was talking to the news. He was very upset that the federal government would RUSH over to Iraq and help them, but they couldn't help their own people. And you know, I think it's very true. Very...I don't care what anyone thinks. But you know I was thinking...we dont need to point fingers, or blame anyone. Its about the time I wish a superhero would emerge and give us all hope and save us. I wish SOMEONE, would STOP pointing fingers and ask, "what needs to be done" DONT GET ME WRONG, I know THOUSANDS are helping but thats not the point I'm getting at. I was talking to Kris about just packing up my explorer and shimming on down to the Alamodome but I told him I wouldn't know what to do with it from there. He brought up a good point consisting of that I'd have to be careful, because the people could fight over it, and that would just hurt me more...:'(
THEN, to top all that, we decided to watch Jerry Springer...come on JERRY SPRINGER but last night was a different kind of episode. Jerry decided to follow 6 homeless kids around and see how their lives are. So first there is a 16 year old boy named Mike. Who went on and on about how he hated God and how this was GOD'S fault that he was there. I was So angry I couldn't even talk. My biggest pet peeve, is blaming God. Mike went on and on and told the camera how his Mom was an alocholic and that was God's fault and how he had to watch her die and that was God's fault. Now keep in mind when he's preaching this, he has a cross tattoo on his arm. WTF?! how can anyone say that God causes suffering in this world..it's just unbelievable.
