Okay, so I have a question for you all! I've been wondering this for a while, and if we had an OOC post about it I have completely forgotten!

What does your character sound like when they talk?To explain: Most characters who go through the gate, no matter what language they speak, all end up speaking a universal language that everyone can ( Read more... )

Andrew: He has a very deep and commanding voice, and it has a very slight accent that it's hard to pick up on. People might incorrectly assume there's a British influence, but it's actually the result of having spoken Russian for the first 25 years of his life. His voice can often get loud and harsh.

Don: He has a pretty deep voice with an American accent. He's from the Eastern US, so he probably has an accent kind of similar to Blaine's in that it's flat and doesn't have a ton of inflection. People would be able to tell that he was from the US, but probably not what part of the US.

Cybil: Cybil has an American accent, too, and she's from the east coast, which comes out a tiny bit in her voice, but only if you're looking for. She tends to drawl a little more than my other characters, and use slightly more colloquialisms when she's speaking. Cybil is a fairly casual speaker and doesn't often raise her voice.

1900: 1900 has a weird voice, because he has a mix between a British and an American accent. Sometimes his inflection is very British in nature (oddly, when he swears, he sounds more British) but sometimes he sounds very American. It all depends on his mood. His voice is soft and not particularly harsh, except when he's really upset.

Chev: Chev is from London, so he has a British accent. He uses a lot of slang, and of course swears all the time. His favorite word is probably 'fuck'. He also tends to use a lot of pet names, like 'sweetheart' or 'cupcake', even if he doesn't like the person he's using it on. His voice is pretty deep and raspy.
