A MOD POST OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE!
Hey there! Just a few things we want to FYI you folks about as we get started on them. If there are any questions, you can let us know here.
FIRSTLY! I know it's only the 11th and not the 15th, but to save on the spammage, remember that the AC check wants your love! Only two pieces of activity per character is required for a full dose of adoration!
SECONDLY! Welcome all you new people! It's great to have you here and we're overjoyed you're sticking around. If you would be so kind as to put your character's name on the profile page, that would be great. Better than great, even because my brain is old and feeble and trying to remember your NAME as I'm responding to a tag is not fun. Instructions on how to do that is in the AC post. -=points to up above=-
THIRDLY Hiatus notes! I've been observing quite a bit of hiatus notices, but very few in our hiatus post. Please remember that if you mention a hiatus/slowatus/sidewaysatus in the ooc comm, it does not count as a hiatus from Activity check.. I encourage all people who feel they will not be reliable at least ten days out of the month to post a hiatus so that you're not called out for lack of activity.
FOURTHLY! (I love this) For all of our long winded writers out there, we do have a logs community. dystopian_logs is where all prose, novel, short story (basically anything with a paragraph and "he said, she said" quotation) goes. If you're worried that said log will get lost in the mix, there is a log alert tag in the ooc comm.
FIFLEY! (I sound like the Count, now! Mwahahah!) I know there are plots coming up. Get your plans together and let the mods know! The sooner we have your thoughts on what you guys want to do, the sooner we can plan around you. Also, advertise on the ooc comm! You never know what allies/enemies you'll pick up there.
SIXTHLY! Player Made Businesses. We have a few, and we as mods haven't been keeping tabs on them as we should be. For that, we apologize. But we resolve to do better, and that means we need some information from those players who have such a business. We need the following about your business: If it's in a building, we need a layout of your building, and what amenities are available there. We may or may not scale down your plans so that it fits within the Veles genre, but if we feel that alterations need to be made, we will inform you. Once we have your plans, they will not change unless something happens to them in-game (aka, they get blown up or additions are made to it.) You may either post your information to the jobs section here or email us at dystopic.flux.moderators@gmail.com. If you currently have a player made business, but insufficient information in the details section, we will be contacting you for more information if we cannot find it.
If you want any of the available player-made businesses, please let us know ASAP!
