This online alias of mine comes from my search for a new AIM screen name in the beginning of freshman year of college. The one I had before this was cutesey and linked with my boyfriend of the time (gag me), and when we broke up, I felt it was time for a change. I think I took the phrase "some day soon" from a poem I had written around that time (it was shitty, and probably burned in the fire, so don't ask to see it). To me, it encapsulated all the possibilities that were opening up before me. At the time, I had thought that it meant that my then boyfriend and I would get back together "some day soon." That was a dumb thought, but there it is. I really wanted to use the name not in L33t speak because i don't like it, but the LJ screen name was already taken by a couple posting together in a friends-only journal about their really kinky sex. (or something) Anyway, long story short, it's about all the things that could possibly happen someday soon.
