traveling time

Mentally getting ready to leave the northwest.

Not happy about it, but good things will be waiting for me--here and further east.

I'm sad that I can't make any of the fabulous concerts my friends are giving this week, as I thought I originally could go and even participate.  Here's what's going down, for those of you blessed enough to stay around Seattle this week.

Wednesday night of this week, Lindsay Mac is performing at SoulFood.  Hot girl plays her cello like it's a guitar.  Do not miss.
A couple of you may have seen her house concert at Betsy's last year.  Now she's performing on our favorite stage.  I am comforted that I'll likely see her at the conference in Memphis next week, since I have to miss this concert.

Thursday night of this week, my ass-kicking, goddess-punch-packing sista Kellianna will perform at SoulFood, with
stealthcello at her side!  Hint:  they are rehearsing just a few feet from me right now, so I can tell you it's gonna be beautiful.  Kellianna has a rich, soaring voice, and if you're hurting for some deep-down goddess energy, including songs of Persephone, Morgan le Fay, and Freya, she is your one-stop hookup.  Her show starts at 7pm.  Bring your sweeties.  Bring your voices.

EDIT:  Miz Kellianna is now on LJ with us!  Go and give her hugs:

Lastly, but never leastly, if it hasn't yet been said enough, I will join the choir:
