My friends are kicking ass

yuki_onna's in Entertainment Weekly, and Celia's trying to get her new album finished by January!

I've been touring with friend and sister-goddess Celia (www.celiaonline.com) this month. She and I ended our tour together with a wonderful show in Wisconsin this past Sunday evening. I've spent the past few days staying with her and her sweetie Rev (www.lilrev.com), soaking up some sleep and healthy food. Last night, Celia and I worked together in The Basement Studio on a few songs for her upcoming album, Red Alabaster and Blue. I only got a short preview of what's to come, but I can tell you that you're going to want to hear Celia's new album when it's finished. She has a preview download and preordering info on her website here: http://www.celiaonline.com/redalabasterandblue.htm

As incentive, I'll let you guys in on a secret: I'll be appearing on the final cuts of 'We'll Always Sing', 'Lady Moon', 'Red Alabaster and Blue', and 'Symbol'.

Celia and I have hatched a lot of plans together since we met on Memorial Day weekend of this past year. I am better for knowing her and experiencing first-hand her talent for writing songs about issues that truly matter, such as the Veteran Pentacle Quest...and then there's 'The Monkey Song', which is at the other end of the spectrum but just as vital.  We will definitely tour again together, though we don't yet know when, and we've even discussed recording an album of new songs together for that tour! As usual, I'll post here when all of that goodness starts to happen. For now, get yourself to Celia's site and wrap one of her new songs around your shoulders, like you would a protective blessing. You all know how much pre-ordering SIRENS helped me out. If you enjoy what Celia's got going on, do the same for her and pre-order Red Alabaster and Blue! Oh--and that fantastic news I couldn't tell anyone from a couple of entries back, I can now share: I'm playing Heartland this year. With Dreamtrybe. On the same night. Can we say Concertgasm, children?
