$8 advance, $10 at the door. This is my last Memphis show until June 2nd.
I go on at 9:30. Val from Bella Sun begins the night at 7pm. Art, music, and probably a cash bar, everything going towards a Memphis College of Art scholarship for a female student.
other fabulous goings-on:
-My Mommy is Smart.
She has a Jeopardy! interview in St. Louis on May 4. This is just too cool--especially for me, the now grown-up child who would sit between her mother and uncles as they watched the show and listen to them get almost every question correct every afternoon for her entire life...
-Tales From The Road will be available for download from the iTunes Music Store in a few weeks.
Also these download sites/companies: AudioLunchbox, MusicNet, MSN Music, Arvato, BuyMusic, Bitmunk, Choice Records, Chondo, Destra, and Daiki (Music Online Corp). All of these already have Haphazard and Tangles available for download, if any of you were wondering.
-The Wytche Haven gig with the band was a success, in spite of my being attacked by a horrible stomach bug directly after finishing the concert. May I never be ill at a festival, EVER again. We were well-received and treated like phamily.
-We are slowly collecting funds to send the band to PSG. So far we're at $50. My goal is between $600 and $800, all to go to my rhythm section, fellow fire performers, and fire safety crew. Not a lot of time left to pull it off (two months), but I'm getting better about remembering to pass the hat that one extra time. Some of you have said you would be willing to donate; if you're still able, I am PayPal-able: sjtucker [at] skinnywhitechick.com You have my thanks and love if you send, as well as both of the new SWC stickers, and maybe something else really nifty that I can come up with soon--perhaps the 'Pixie' segment from the recent Gypsy Circus television special, or the whole thing on DVD.

Tattoo Grrl got off the bus in downtown Memphis this past Tuesday, and we've had a lovely week hanging out, being lazy, going dancing, and showing her only the best bits of Memphis. The traveling circus has grown to three freaks!!
Said freaks may have a chance to entertain at Sonja's party this evening, with fire, if Venus Envy doesn't sap our energy.
-Shinies today....the gem and mineral show is on, and I've never been. Ferret Lust is imminent. I hope that you all have a magnificent weekend.
