The really good part starts at about 2 minutes, here. I remember watching this interview when it aired and laughing and being utterly thrilled. The man was already one of my acting heroes. :D

i ran through the house whooping the first time i got to the part in The Two Towers (the book) where he shows up again. I was eleven.
