In Celebration
This is two of the FIVE boxes full of CD orders I took to the post office yesterday.
The photo doesn't really tell you how much I had--batch one filled up a whole mail cart.
It's a good thing I'm in a small town where the postman knows me. He met me at the door. *grin*
I currently have over yet fifty more to fulfill.
Ladies and gentlemen, I feel entirely justified in telling you that your actions, your creativity, your effort, your giving, and your LOVE on my behalf is unprecedented. And it's still coming in.
Every time I have logged in anywhere today, there has been yet more amazing waiting for me. I can hardly believe it.
I am helpless to withstand all of this amazing and all of this support.
My goals are simple, my dreams well defined.
I made two wishes just a few years ago:
-to have my job be driving around the country and singing for my friends
and
-to heal others with my music. really, deeply heal.
Little did i know what a tidal wave I would see coming back to me, having worked to see those dreams through and having lived them for what seems such a short while.
You never know how much good you have done until something unprecedented pulls you up
by the collar and shows you, when everyone, all at the same times, decides to prove it to you in sweet and wonderful ways.
You cannot know, until others donate their amazing craft, their skill, their cash, their proceeds, for crying out loud, for your sake.
When my colleagues talk about the "big break" they're waiting for, they have no idea.
you are my big break.
Nothing can stop us now. Not now, not ever.
I love you, and rest assured that I am trying to keep up!
