I really hate money. I hate how it defines you from other people, how if you have it, you're an awesome person, and if you don't, you're just a piece of shit bum. There's nothing we can do but let it determine our fates, because unfortunately, in the world today, you can't run from it.
Steve and I do ok with money. We pay our bills, we make rent, we afford extra things like the internet and cell phones.. we manage somehow to afford to feed all these yapping animals.. We even manage to go out pretty regularly. It's just all these upcoming events that look a little murky as far as money goes. So we have to save for Christmas, because it's right around the corner and will be here before we know it. The family is coming up so we'll need to supply the Christmas tree and we also need to buy presents for all of them and each other. I'm not complaining, or even trying to sound like that's a chore, it's really exciting. Then, after that, we plan on taking a road trip in March. My mom's birthday is the 11th and Steve's is the 19th. So we are going to try to stay there for both, then we thought on the way back we would drive up coast highway. See Morro Bay, go take a tour at the Winchester House, stay in San Fransisco for a night, and make our way back home... But that could be a long and very expensive vacation. Maybe we'll just do the birthdays and hit up the coast before next summer hits with unbearable heat. We also want to buy a car. His car is too expensive as a commuter car... It would be best as a project car, or a weekend car... We need a more economically efficient car. A gas efficient car.. Although gas prices are going down! $3.13 a gallon now.. A few months back it used to be $3.90 a gallon.. I swear to God!
Another financial issue.. So I got my car repossessed, then it went to collections, and NOW Toyota Motor Company is suing me.. I have this law office that keeps calling me. And I was willing to set up payment arrangements, but they want 15% down first, and there's now way I can afford that. Plus they want over 200 a month in payment.. I just can't do that.. As a matter of fact, i was supposed to call that guy back today.. whoops. Tomorrow..
Why wait, procrastinate today!
