so anyway
i drove back home although i'll have to drive back to campus to take my other two classes. currently i'm working on developing my second type font. the first one was basically done to introduce the class to making a font. this second one, well we'll be graded a lot harder on it. when i look at other fonts students are making in class, i'm just amazed, some really got it all worked out and looks great, and i'm like why didn't i think of that! haha. but my own font is developing alright. its really cool just to say its my own. but i gotta say, developing a font takes forever and takes a lot of time and attention. seriously, i'm not just saying this to make it seem like what i'm doing sound more important.
so anyway, in other news, the vote posters that were done last semester were up for like a week before the election so that people can pass by and see them, get inspired, etc. not everyone's poster was selected to go up, but mines did make it. so it was just cool just having it up there. my brother, qasim, turned 18 earlier this year and he was able to vote in this election. i was just proud that he took an interest in it and he was all like "cool i got a (i voted) sticker. haha. sounds cheesy but when you think about it, its really good to say you had some involvement in this years election. and i have to say i was absolutely stunned at the response, or i should say lack of response some students gave when were were asked a few weeks ago by teacher to raise our hand if we were registered to vote and if we were going to vote. like half of the class didn't raise there hand. tsk tsk. shame. i just don't understand that. so anyway, i'm gonna drive back to campus now and try to get in a good mindset to be able to stay up during my night class. wish me luck
