On my last post, I mentioned something about wanting to post something, but having forgot what it was. Well, I remember this morning. Often times on the radio, I'll hear this ad for Axe body spray. It's this guy in a thick German accent reciting a poem about how stank he smells until he uses some Axe. I cringe every time I hear this ad, yet at the same time find it amusing. If you ever hear it, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Nothing else really going on. We had a good weekend. Normally, soon after we get up on Saturday mornings, we'll head to Wal-Mart and do some grocery shopping. Afterwards, we ate breakfast, got cleaned up and went shopping. This Saturday's excursion included stops to Burke's Outlet (clothes were kinda crap...but home items okay - lots of beach decor, which I was liking as that's how I would like to redo our bathroom), Fred's (I like discount stores), Belk's, Lowe's and the Shoe Depot. We bought some random stuff at Fred's, some seed & soil for our backyard and some boat shoes. We recently cut a few trees down in our backyard, which should bring in a little bit more sun to grow some grass. The people who used to own the house, didn't care too much for the backyard. There was leaves everywhere, and it looked like they hadn't raked in years. I mean...leaves were so disintegrated, it looked as if it were becoming dirt. Anyway...we're taking care of the backyard now, and trying to grow some grass. I'm also particularly happy w/ my boat shoe purchase. I had been looking for a pair of TopSiders, but could only find a reasonably priced pair online. I didn't necessarily want to get it though b/c it was 1/2 size larger than what I wear, and w/ leather stretching, I didn't want it to end up too big. So at the shoe store, I find TopSiders which are ridiculously overpriced, but I find a comparable brand which cost less. So in the end...I got my boat shoes. Such a happy story, right?
Anyway...I feel as though I've spent enough "work" time posting. I'll just toggle back & forth between programs on my screen to write this. I need to appear busy, so if people hear me making keystrokes, then one can assume I'm working on something. Right? That's really sad, huh? Having to pretend to work to keep D-bag off my back. I hate my job : (
