EPIC BACKYARD CASTLE UNVEILED
Since not all of you are on Google+, this bears repeating...
illuminari decided that what he wanted for his birthday was ALL THE LITTLE GIRL SQUEEING, apparently, because today was the day that he finally unveiled the frickin' amazing CASTLE he built the girls in secret (it was under a tarp... we told them it was a shed... they were suspicious, but had NO IDEA exactly how badass it would be).
Thus, I share it with you. BEHOLD!
Relevant Notes:
* Only the front wall is stone (and yes, that's real stone -- looks even better in person), but the rest is fort-looking brown-stained wood
* There's a climby wall on the exterior back
* There are all kinds of cool little details on the inside not really visible in these photos that make it look really fancy and awesome in there
* There will be a zip line from the back of the castle to a tree (SHH DON'T TELL THE GIRLS! IT'S A SECRET!)
The inside is so atmospheric that I can't step in without wanting to run something in there. It's awesome. Needless to say, this will be the centerpiece of the little kid larp.
Now I need to find appropriate furnishings for it... hmmmmmmmmm...
(Note: tressum & jackshale, don't tell your boys or show them the pics... I have been explicitly instructed that the girls want to have them over for a playdate and surprise them.)
