Title: Rescue The Princess -Another Version-[1/1]
Pairing: ReitaxRuki
Band: Gazette
Rated: PG
Genre: Humor-ish
Comment: This drabble was kinda fun so I decided a 'What if?' version. xD
Summary: Reita's to-do-list for the day: Bring a ladder, Run to Ruki's house, and Try to save him from something called 'being grounded'.
Original drabble right here "Ahhh....this is boring." Ruki slouched and leaned his head against his open window with a blank look. A loud whisper beneath him (his room's on the second floor) called to him.
“Hey…Hey, Ruki!”
Ruki peered down from his bedroom window to find Reita staring back at him and holding a wooden ladder in one arm.
“What…the hell are you doing here? I’ve been grounded, remember?” The younger boy grimaced in thought. It wasn’t his fault that his neighbour’s car was soaked with water from the inside out (he watched while it was done, though)and yet, he was the first to be blamed.
“Wait, hold up and let me put this up, okay?”
Placing the ladder up to the window, he quickly made sure no one was around and climbed up. Now inches away, he grinned, “Okay...I’m here to save the princess.”
Ruki swatted his head. “Don’t you dare call me princess.”
He shrugged, stilling grinning. “Whatever you say,...Princess. Now let's escape before your dad comes in and grounds me too.”
The younger of the two barely had time to swat the other's head before complying.
"Hey, what's going on here?!"
"Oh, shit! Run!"
Immediately, Reita raised his arms and caught the other boy as he jumped down from the ladder. He made a pained face as more weight was added onto his arms. “God, you’re heavy. I don’t want to know what happen if you fell on me.”
Ruki swatted his head for the third time and said defensively, “I’m not heavy! Drop me now!”
“Drop you?” The blonde raised a brow before shrugging, “Whatever you say.”
And the younger boy was then dropped unceremoniously to the grass. Rubbing his back, Ruki mumbled curses before rising to his feet.
“Ruki! Where the hell are you?! You’re grounded, remember?!” The echoes of his father’s call brought shivers down his spine.
“Uh oh, let’s get going.” Grabbing Reita’s wrist, he dragged the other across the sidewalk and hurried off.
After running for a few minutes and catching their breaths, the older boy heaved a sigh. “Man, you’re dad’s so strict, isn’t he? I’m afraid to know the consequences if he catches us.”
“I don’t want to know either.” Ruki replied with a grimace.
“...And believe me, I think you guys would like to know.”
Both boys froze. Ruki’s father glanced at them sternly before grabbing the back of their collars and dragging them back.
We... Reita and Ruki thought, are so grounded.
End. :D
A/N: How do you like this ending?
