Considering the whole Kate/Eli kerfluffle from from a little while ago (and the fact that I keep stubbornly requesting Eli/Kate on comment_fic), I'm pretty certain someone just tried to troll me hereIt's pretty mild trolling, all things considered. It's a type of dishonest activity.

I shall quote Wikipedia:
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

I was referring to this as "trolling" because of a kerfluffle recently in my LJ (the locked explanation is a couple posts down) about how someone argued in bad faith that I and another person were "pushing" this particular pairing on people who didn't like it. The other person who was accused wrote an LJ post calling out the bad faith arguer as a liar and got flamed to high hell for it. I'm casting doubt on the coincidence of a bare two weeks after that blow-up someone, who has no friends, no interests, and no posts, responding to a prompt where I requested that exact pairing and writing a fic where the pairing breaks up. It seemed to me like someone was posting with the intention of provoking an emotional reaction.
