I was hitting the "Find Random User" button over at Journalfen and came across
this delicious meme on
rache's journal.
Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing, etc.
I didn't count non-humans (except Loki), anonymous naked people, or people who are merely mentioned in the text. Real people were counted, but if they were actors I counted them as their characters. The list was sorted by personal name.
Kuroudo Akabane/Alton Brown
&
Oh yes, I remember this. Akabane was intent on learning the softest part of the body, and Alton just has the BEST visual aids. I don't think that Alton meant to go that far in providing a visual aid, but at least the crew didn't catch the rest of it on camera. Of course, that could have been because Akabane killed them all.
Midou Ban/Brad Crawford
&
They kept hiding behind their glasses and waiting for the other one to crack. Ban was really worried this would turn out like his relationship with Fudou, but luckily for everyone involved there was a lot less pain and property damage this time around.
Draco Malfoy/Duo Maxwell
&
Draco doesn't really like the idea of a class in Muggle Studies anyway, but Crabbe and Goyle were taking it, and as long as word doesn't get back to his father... I don't think he was quite expecting the teacher, though. After all, Duo's not too much older than his students (not actually older than most of them, actually), and anyway, he's only teaching the class until Dumbledore finds a way to get him back to his time period. Mouthy American mudblood brat. Who is an unexpectedly good hand at fighting, and apparently not afraid to slam an unruly student across their desk with a well-timed smack.
Ed Elric/Elyse Sewell
&
Ed sure was surprised to find his alchemy non-functional after one experiment blew up rather spectacularly in his face. Luckily, a kind, if somewhat snarky and foul-mouthed young model helped him get back on his feet.
Eric Foreman/Gaara
&
Foreman is assigned to the case of a young man who hasn't slept in years. He pretty much ignores House's suggestion to "check out these cool ninja scrolls!"
Amano Ginji/Greg House
&
Gregory House is fascinated by anything he can't explain. He can explain the starvation, that's easy. He can almost explain the electrolyte imbalance. He's yet to explain why the blonde kid keeps crouching over the room's electrical outlet like it's some kind of water fountain, or how the guy seems to turn into a stuffed animal whenever House says something mean.
Huey Freeman/Uchiha Itachi
&
For a pasty white goth guy, Itachi wasn't so bad. Huey still couldn't figure out where the hell he was (a desert? a cave? He needed his internet, dammit! There weren't even phone lines.) But Itachi didn't seem to mind listening to Huey's rants, and he didn't try to add anything stupid, which already put him one step ahead of MOST of the people Huey knew.
James Wilson/Kurosaki Karin
&
Kurosaki Karin had a knack for cutting straight through to the heart of a diagnosis, even when no injury was to be seen. Somehow she always knew. Wilson thought she might just be the best nurse he'd ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Kiba/Kubota
&
Araisou was oddly close to a forest that was said to be haunted, not that Kubota believed that sort of thing. Of course, it was sort of annoying to be attacked by a young boy while he was just minding his own business. That the kid made him drop his cigarette didn't help the case any. The thing about dogs is all you have to do is show them who's alpha. After that, they just fall into line.
L/Laguna Loire
&
"Why are you holding your hands out like that?"
"I calculate a 98 percent chance that you will throw me in jail."
"But we haven't even finished our cake yet."
"... You're correct. I hadn't factored that in."
Lex Luthor/Logan
&
Lex Luthor wants the best of everything-- he is the president, after all. The best food, the best women, the best protection. And it's not like he knew anything about Weapon X-- it certainly wasn't an attempt at creating perfect weapons. Or bodyguards.
Loki/Luffy
&
I always thought this pairing was lovely-- Tricksters love their fools. Even if the occasional plan backfires magnificently.
Mulan/Nabiki
&
Nabiki thought that Mulan was the most perfect fighter she'd ever laid eyes on. Now, if only the girl could learn how to take care of her finances. But that was okay, that was what Nabiki was there for. Chang would just have to learn to share-- that is, if he wanted to see his proceeds from when Nabiki invested Mulan's soldier's pay.
Naima Mora/Naruto
&
Naima found that having a cute, energetic little boy racing around always gave her the perk-up she needed to slather on some Covergirl makeup and start her day right.
Norelle Van Herk/Numbah Five (Abigail Lincoln)
&
... Yeah, I got nothing. Bueller? Bueller?
Ophelia/Phelps Twins (No, I don't know which one, so it's both of them)
&
Not only is Hamlet better off without that tramp, if anything can pull a girl out of depression, it's a pair of ginger-haired twins. Who don't like twincest, but that's okay, she can have them one at a time-- if they can ever break of the maiden-virtue thing she's got going.
Raito/Relena Peacecraft
&
He's a sociopath bent on destroying all criminals and bending the world to his whim. She's the Queen of the World who would rather everyone just stop fighting GORRAMIT. Totally with the OTP, until she finds out what Raito does with that damn notebook. Then she gets Heero to blow the jerk's head off. Or does it herself, if he's already killed Heero.
Remy LeBeau/Robert Chase
&
Oh, this one's just lovely. Remy is a bit disoriented after an attempted heist and a fight, and Chase, coming home after a long day at PPTH, finds him wandering around, totally out of it. Remy unfortunately has a concussion, and Chase manages to get him to the hospital, where he is assigned the case and does his best to bring Remy back to full health, and keep him from wandering off before he's completely healed-- as Remy is often wont to do. (In later chapters, Robert learns that he may have certain gifts that nobody noticed, because he works for House, and medical miracles are a given in that department...)
Roy Mustang/Sanji
&
The crew of the going Merry disembark of the strangest island yet! The inhabitants don't even seem to realize they're on the island and have this funny gun-gun magic called "alchemy"-- apparently years ago the first inhabitants of the island at from a gum-gum fruit and the ability was passed down. As per usual, the crew gets caught up in the goings-on, and end up helping out a young blonde boy and his captain, Roy. Roy reminds Sanji of Luffy brother, Ace, with whom he's had an affair, and Sanji decides that he just really likes pyrokinetics.
Genjou Sanzou/Uchiha Sasuke
&
OTP! OMG theirloveissoemo!
Seto Kaiba/Nara Shikamaru
&
Seto's guards fail to keep out a kidnapper-- AGAIN. Only this time the kidnapper is Nara Shikamaru, who really thinks this is completely pointless. Of course, the village IS getting paid for it, so he might as well catch the Kaiba brothers and go home. He didn't expect Seto's formidable martial abilities, numerous inventions, or MIND. During the cat and mouse game they learn a certain respect for each other.
Schuldig/V'Neef Sidel
&
"Why are you blue?"
"Legendary breeding. Why are you a bastard?"
"Fun."
Minoru Tokitou/Godaime Tsunade/Zoro
&
&
Tokitou keeps SAYING he's straight, and Tsunade has no problem letting herself be used to prove it. Although she couldn't have planned it better when she lost that card game and ended up dragging Tokitou onto the pirate ship for a little bit of rum and fun belowdeck. The fight afterwards was almost as entertaining, actually.
I realized after the fact that I missed my SPD icon-- sorry, baby, Bridge, Jack and Sky aren't in there anywhere. I'm too damn lazy to go back and redo it all.
